Hi, I'm Mal! I'm a momma to my beautiful daughter, my dog Keira & my cat Felix, I married my best friend in 2023, I live on caffeine & when I'm not photographing your next session, I'm probably hiking, kayaking, exploring, or curling up with a romantasy book.
My love for photography started young, with a camera never far from my hands, and has grown into this heartfelt business. I’m drawn to the natural, unscripted moments — the quiet glances, the real laughs, and everything in between — while also making sure you walk away with timeless, frame-worthy images. I truly love love, and it’s an honour to capture it for others.
I love nothing more than being invited into someone’s most meaningful moments. Whether it’s the nervous joy of a first look or the full-hearted laughter of a family session, I love being there to capture the real, raw, and beautiful parts of your day. Weddings especially hold a special place in my heart, and it’s an honour to document the love, connection, and details that make your day uniquely yours. When booking me as your photographer, I want to do so much more than to just capture your photos. I am here to help you with any location questions or concerns, time of shoot, what to wear, wedding day timeline assistance, etc.
Whether it’s your first time in front of the camera or you’re just not sure what to do with your hands—I’ve got you. I keep sessions light, relaxed, and fun with easy-to-follow prompts and natural posing that help you feel confident and comfortable. My goal is to capture the real, honest moments; your connection, your laughter, and everything in between, so your photos feel like you.
In the end, you'll receive a gallery full of images edited in neutral, true-in-colour tones, and also black & white and film-inspired images.
